Trub in Dub

Guinness, potatoes, more whiskey and a Dub rainbow. Seeing churches only because we got lost.

Not my favorite city, but the acoustic folk singers they have at every bar at night is awesome, even if it's for tourists. But okay by me.

Old Hagg(i)s

People think we're 20 here in edinburgh. Its great that they can't tell we're old hags that are eating haggis and going on whiskey tours by day.

And other Scottish day tours where we get to visit cemeteries, churches like melrose abbey where pieces of sir Walter Scott is buried and the heart of Robert the Bruce and other dead people pieces since it seems that no one is buried in just one place.

Now onto Dublin, hopefully it will be just as gothic minus getting hit on by 18 year olds.

It's a Vampily Thing

"pictures don't lie, you are vampires."-guy on street who took this picture.

Thats what we get for thinking every goth is a vampire.

Are You Feeling Gutsy?

The new quote of the trip after we drank two bottles of "gutsy" Shiraz. Which was after we had already drank 6 pimm cups each and a sip if Ginger beer (which is not more than .5% in volume). Then followed by a lot of whiskey and a Quilmes! Granted we never got to the big ben and even the Englishmen we were with were unsure about London bridge vs. Tower bridge, but we drank big and discussed big things from savannah cats, Ostrigators, flaminerhocerous, cottage chicken, then ending with a 45 minutes bike ride home where we may have died 15 times because we were feeling gutsy. No biggie!

It keeps coming closer!

Kill me Quilmes!

The possessed TV that won't turn off.

What do you mean 3 of us can't fit in this bed? (please note objects in camera appear are larger than they are).

Subject: Wobble wobble

Well since the pilgrims didn't settle here in Vancouver--there's no thanksgiving and hence no turkeys. So they built a bridge to go "wobble wobble." Now the bridge is pretty sturdy (so they say) even though it fell in 2006 when a large tree fell over on it during Hurricane Freida. So they say it can hold a stampede of elephants, maybe it can, but if any large person walked. You rocked back and forth, so I can't imagine elephants!
Otherwise vancouver is pretty cute. Filled with tourists and old people. Can't get better than that. It's faster paced than San Francisco (it's the 3rd most densely populated in north america, after manhattan and mexico city). Pretty interesting, eh?

I found jesus.

And he said hey.oh so apparently in Rio they pronounce there Rs as Hs. So it's Heyoh De Janeiro. And you pay with Hails instead of Reals.
it is a lot like miami meets new york city. Really like it here. Sure it gets dangerous at night like any other city, but in the day not so much. Unlike the knife fight in buenos aires.
Getting a little lonely since Kristin's family hasn't contacted me in a few days to see if she is alive. She is--and now her butts on this cake.
